About Tammy Lynn Center
Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation, Inc. supports the children and adults of Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities.  The Center began in 1969 through the efforts of three Wake County families to confront the absence of programs for their children with special needs.  It is named in memory of Tammy Lynn Pierce, a daughter of one of the founding families.

Located on a nine-acre campus near NC State University's Centennial Campus, the Center offers a variety of programs and services including early intervention, residential services, developmental day programs, respite care, nursing and therapy services.  The Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) entity supported largely through charitable contributions and sponsorships from local businesses and organizations.
